Inter-railing City 9

 

Nice was a weird part of the trip. We were all exhausted and the beach in Nice literally a road away from us, we couldn't not relax. We did the typical British thing and headed to an Irish bar, Ma Nolan's, which was right on the port, and where that first photo was taken. We even did the pub quiz, and came 3rd!

The beaches in Nice are stone beaches, so if you are going to visit them be prepared for sore feet. Aside from the stones, it was bliss. We ate lunch on the coast and saw the little traditional market they had on one of the days.

There was nothing more beautiful than the views at night, The lights of the marina shining off the water were on a whole new level. 

At this point we're were quite short on money, so we decided against taking a day trip to Monaco and that area, but I do slightly regret it, although I had seen it before, but I definitely would want to revisit when I get a chance.

Honestly, we didn't do much in Nice.

On a side note, our accommodation was lovely, so so close to the marina, literally one road over. And the lovely guy who owned it left us a great little leaflet with all his recommendations. 10/10.
