Barcelona
Inter-railing City 10

Barcelona has the most incredible architecture. Gaudi's buildings are insane, I've never seen anything like it, in a league of their own.
On our first full day, we went to the Nou Camp. Spent the day touring the stadium and seeing all the trophies, not really my cup of tea if I'm honest.
After a few days in Nice relaxing, we thought we'd spend another day on the beach. And it is definitely what we needed, again. Barcelona beach is like the majority of Spanish beaches, they have sunbeds and umbrellas there, we found that one umbrella was enough for the 5 of us.
It was another city where the main thing we actually did was just wander around and explore. It is a lovely city to do just that, and was a nice chance for me to practise my Spanish again.
Our accommodation was another brilliant airbnb, quite far out from the centre of the city, but with the metro system, it's mega easy to get around town.
In all honesty, at this point we were really beginning to run out of steam, we'd been away for a month at this point, and when we had been walking and exploring non-stop for that long it really does begin to exhaust you. With only 2 stops left, we were full of bittersweet feelings, because who doesn't crave their own bed.
Previous city: Nice, Next stop: Madrid.
